Heidi Becker

Heidi is an abstract painter and art educator from the western suburbs of Chicago. Her process is based in mark making and color theory. Bold and intuitive, her paintings are dimensional, full of movement, recognizable by their variety of techniques, enery and luscious color palette.

Julie Skoda

Julie is a signature member of the Chicago Pastel Painters and the Degas Pastel Society, an associate member of the Pastel Society of America, American Impressionist Society Associate, American Women Artists Associate with Distinction, Associate Artist with Unison Colour Handmade Pastels and President of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA). She teaches pastel painting classes throughout the year online and in person.

Maggie Capettini

Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Master of Arts in Teaching. Using painting knives, she paints with energy and gesture, making textural color marks that capture the essence of what has inspired her to paint a particular view. Her plein air and still life works are created alla prima — in one painting session.

Heidi is a commercial photographer, printmaker and all around art lover. She’s also the driving force behind Creativefully. If she’s not working, she’s at the Art Institute or hiking.

Suzanne Hetzel

Suzanne is a North Carolina watercolor artist and educator. She is President Emeritus of The Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Past President and Founder of the Kendall Arts Guild, Kendall County, Illinois, and Founder and lifetime member of the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation. She is currently Regional Director for the Watercolor Society of North Carolina.

Jan Reagan

Jan is a paper artist working in collage mixed media as well as botanical eco-dyeing, papier maché, and paper machine sewing. She is involved in several Chicagoland art communities and facilitates a class for middle-schoolers at her local art center.
